Our registered users ("Members") share their professional identity, get involved in their network, exchange knowledge and professional insights, post and view relevant content, learn and develop skills and find business and career opportunities. Content and data on some of our services is not available to non-members ("Visitors") visible.
We use the term "designated countries" for countries in the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
Persons responsible for and parties to the data processing
If you are located in the "Specified Countries" or outside of the Specified Countries, t4.network is the controller of your personal information that is transmitted to or collected by or for our services or processed in connection with our services.
- Collected data
1.1 Data you provide us with
You provide data to create an account with us.
To create an account, you must provide information such as your name, email address and/or mobile phone number and a password. If you register for a premium service, you must provide payment (e.g. credit card) and billing information.
You create your T4.network profile (a complete profile helps you to make the best use of our services).
You have the choice between the information in your Profilesuch as your education, work experience, skills, photo, City or area and recommendations. You do not need to provide additional information on your Profile but the profile information will help you get more out of our services, including assisting recruiters and business opportunities in finding you. It is your decision whether to sensitive data into your Profile and want to publish this sensitive information. Please do not publish personal data in your Profilethat you do not want to make publicly available.
You provide us with additional data, e.g. by synchronizing your address book or calendar.
Booking and uploading
We collect personal information from you when you provide, publish or upload it to our services, for example when you fill out a form.
You do not need to post or upload any personal information; however, if you do not, it may limit your ability to grow and connect to your network through our services.
1.2 Data from others
Others may write or write about you.
Content and news
You and others may post content that contains information about you (as part of articles, posts, comments, videos) on our services. If you itself not decide against it, we collect public information about you, such as professional news and achievements (e.g. patents granted, professional recognition, conference speakers, projects, etc.) and make it available as part of our services (e.g. suggestions for your Profile or Notifications to others about Mentions in the news).
Customers and partners can provide us with data.
We receive personal information (e.g., your job title and work e-mail address) about you when you use the services of our customers and partners, such as employers or prospective employers and applicant tracking systems that provide us with job application information.
1.3 Use of the service
We log your visits and the use of our services, including mobile applications.
We log usage data when you visit or otherwise use our services, including our websites, apps and platform technology, such as when you view or click on content (e.g., educational videos) or advertisements (on or off our websites and apps), perform a search, install or update one of our mobile apps, share items or apply for jobs. We use logins, cookies, Device information and Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses to identify you and log your usage.
1.4 Cookies and similar technologies
We collect information using cookies and similar technologies.
1.5 Your device and location
We receive data from your devices and networks, including location data.
When you visit or leave our services (including some plug-ins and our cookies or similar technologies on the websites of other providers), we receive the URL of both the website from which you came and the website to which you are going and the time of your visit. We also receive information about your network and device (e.g. IP address, proxy server, operating system, web browser and add-ons, device ID and features, cookie IDs and/or ISP or your mobile phone provider). If you use our services from a mobile device, that device sends us information about your location based on your phone settings. We will ask for your consent before we use GPS or other tools to identify your exact location.
If you communicate through our services, we will know.
We collect information about you when you send, receive or engage in communications in connection with our services. For example, when you receive a T4.network connection request, we track whether you have responded and send you reminders. We also use automatic Message scanning technology to support and protect our website. For example, we use this technology to suggest possible responses to messages and to detect content that violates our User agreement or the Guidelines of the professional community to administer or block our services.
1.7 Locations and services of others
We receive data when you visit websites that contain our ads, cookies or some of our plugins, or when you use your T4.network account to log in to the services of others.
We receive information about your visits and interaction with services offered by others when you register with T4.network or visit services of others that contain some of our plugins (such as "Advertise with T4.network") or our advertisements, cookies or similar technologies.
We are improving our services, which means that we receive new data and create new ways of using data.

We use your information to provide, support, personalise and develop our services.
How we use your personal information depends on which services you use, how you use those services and the choices you make in your Settings meet. We use the information we have about you to provide and personalize our services, including through automated systems and inferences we make to make our services (including advertisements) more relevant and useful to you and others.
2.1 Services provided
Our services will help you to make contacts, find and be found work and business opportunities, get informed, educate yourself and become more productive.
We use your data to authorize access to our services and to process your Settings ...to reward.
Our services enable you to stay in touch and up to date with colleagues, partners, customers and other professional contacts. To do this, you can "connect" with the professionals you choose and who also want to "connect" with you. Depending on your and their Settings can be You, when you connect with other members, seek the connections of other members to exchange professional opportunities.
We use data about you (like your Profileprofiles that you have viewed, or data provided through address book uploads or partner integrations) to help others use your Profile find connections for you and others (e.g. members who share your contacts or professional experience) and allow you to invite others to join and connect with you You may also choose to allow us to use your exact location or proximity to other members for specific tasks (e.g., to allow other members to near you in order to calculate the journey to a new job or to notify your connections that you are attending a professional event).
You have the choice of inviting someone to our services, sending a connection request or allowing another member to become your connection. If you invite someone to connect with you, your invitation will include your network and basic profile information (e.g., name, profile picture, job title, region). We will send invitation reminders to the person you invite. You can send choosewhether or not you want to share your own list of connections with your connections.
The visitors have the choicehow we use their data.
Our services allow you to stay informed about news, events and ideas on professional topics that are important to you and from professionals you respect. Our services also enable you to improve your professional skills or learn new ones. We use the information we have about you (e.g., information you provide us, information we collect from your use of our services, and inferences we draw from the information we have about you) to personalize our services for you, such as recommending or rating relevant content and talking about our services. We also use the information we hold about you to suggest skills that you would like to add to your Profile and skills you may need for your next opportunity. So if you tell us that you are interested in a new skill (for example, by watching a tutorial video), we will use this information to personalize the content of your feed, suggest that you follow certain members on our site, or suggest related learning content that will help you acquire that new skill. We use your content, activities and other data, including your name and photos, to notify your network and others. Depending on your Settings we can, for example, inform others that you have Profile updated, posted content, performed a social action, used a feature, made new connections or in the news were.
Our services enable you to collaborate with colleagues, find potential customers, clients, partners and other people with whom you can do business. Our services enable you to communicate with other members and to plan and prepare meetings with them. If it is your Settings we scan the messages to provide "bots" or similar tools that facilitate tasks such as scheduling meetings, writing responses, summarizing messages, or recommending next steps.
2.2 Premium services
Our premium services help paying users find and connect with members, such as finding and contacting job applicants, sales managers and employees, managing talent and promoting content through social media.
We sell premium services that provide our clients and subscribers with tailored search capabilities and tools (including news and activity alerts) as part of our talent, marketing and sales solutions. Customers can access limited information from your Profile export, such as name, title, current company, current title and general location (e.g. Dublin), to manage sales leads or talent, for example, if you itself not argue. We will not provide contact information to customers within the scope of these premium services without your consent. Premium Service customers may store information about you in our Premium Services, such as a resume or contact information or sales history. The data stored about you by these customers is subject to the policies of these customers.
We contact you and enable communication between the members. We offer Settings to control which messages you receive and how often you receive certain types of messages.
We will contact you by email, mobile phone, messages on our websites or apps, messages in your T4.network inbox and otherwise through our services, including text messages and push notifications. We will send you messages about the availability of our services, security or other service-related issues. We will also send messages about the use of our services, network updates, reminders, job suggestions and promotional messages from us and our partners. You can send your Communication preferences at any time change. Please note that you cannot opt-out of receiving service communications from us, including safety and legal notices.
We also enable the communication between you and others through our services, including, for example Invitations, E-mails, Groups and News between the connections.
We advertise our services to you and others.
In addition to promoting our services, we use member data and content for invitations and communications to promote member and network growth, engagement and our services, for example by showing your connections that you have used a feature of our services.
2.5 Development of services and research
We develop our services and carry out research.
Development of services
We use data, including public feedback, to Research and development for our services to provide a better, more intuitive and personalized experience for you and others, to promote membership growth and commitment to our services, and to connect professionals with each other and with business opportunities.
We seek to create economic opportunities for members of the global workforce and help them to be more productive and successful. We use the personal information available to us to research social, economic and workplace trends, such as the availability of jobs and the opportunities available to them. Jobs necessary skills and policies that help bridge the gap in different sectors and geographical areas. In some cases, we work with trusted third parties to conduct this research under Controls which serve to protect your privacy. We disclose or permit others to disclose economic information that is presented as aggregated data rather than personal information.
Surveys and surveys are conducted by us and others through our services. You are under no obligation to respond to any surveys or research and you have a choice as to what information you provide. You may receive invitations to surveys Reject.

We use data to help you and to solve problems.

3.1 Our services
All data that you enter into your Profile and any content that you post or perform social actions (e.g., like, follow, comment, share) that you apply to our services will be seen by others according to your Settings.
Your Profile is fully visible to all members and customers of our services. Depending on your Settings it may also be visible to other people on or outside of our services (e.g. visitors to our services or users of third party search engines) As in our Help Center described in detail, have your Settings, the degree of connection with the displaying member, the possible subscriptions, the Use of our servicesthe access channels and search types (e.g. by name or keyword) influence the availability of your Profile and whether there are certain fields in your Profile can display.
Posts, preferences, episodes, comments, news
Our services allow you to view and share information, including through contributions, preferences, pursuits and comments.
- When you make an article or contribution (e.g. an update, image, video or article) publicly available, it can be viewed by anyone and shared again anywhere (depending on your Settings). Members, visitors, and others can find and view your publicly available content, including your name (and your photo, if you provided one).
- In a Group the contributions are visible to other group members. Your membership in groups is public and part of your profile, but you can change the visibility in your Settings change.
- Any information that you provide through the sites of companies or other organisations via our services can be viewed by them and others who visit these sites.
- When you follow a person or organization, you are visible to others and to that "site owner" as a follower.
- We let the senders know when you respond to their message, depending on your Settings.
- Depending on your Settings we tell a member when you view their profile.
- If you like, share or comment on someone else's content (including ads), others can view these "social actions" and associate them with you (e.g., your name, your Profile and your photo, if you have provided it)
3.2 Archiving the communication
Regulated members may need to store messages outside of our service.
Some members (or their employers) may need to archive their communication and social media activities for legal or professional reasons and will use the services of others to provide these archiving services. We enable the archiving of messages from and to those Members who are not part of our services. For example, a financial advisor must archive communications with its clients about our services in order to retain its license as a financial advisor.
3.3 Services of others
You may link your account to other people's services so that they can view your contacts' profiles, publish your shares on such platforms, or allow you to talk to your connections on such platforms. Extracts from your profile will also appear in the services of others.
Depending on your Settings other services can use your Profile look it up. If you choose to link your account to other services, personal information will be made available to them. The sharing and use of this personal information will be described in or linked to a consent screen if you choose to link accounts. For example, you can link your Twitter or WeChat account to bring content from our services to these other services, or your email provider gives you the option to upload your T4.network contacts to their own service. Third party services have their own privacy policies, and you may give them permission to use your information in ways we would not. You can change the link to such accounts revoked.
Depending on your Settings are Excerpts from your Profile appear on the services of others (e.g. search engine results, mail and calendar applications that show a user limited profile data of the person he meets or sends messages, social media aggregators, talent and lead managers) The "old" profile information is retained on these services until they replace their data cache with the changes you made to your Profile update.

We share your information through our various services and the companies associated with T4.network.
3.5 Service providers
We can rely on others for our services.
We use others to provide our services (e.g. maintenance, analysis, testing, payments, fraud detection, marketing and development). You will have access to your information to the extent necessary to perform these functions on our behalf, and you are required not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
3.6 Legal information
We may need to disclose your information if we believe that disclosure is required by law or to protect the rights or safety of you, us or others.
We may need to disclose information about you if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist governmental law enforcement agencies; (2) enforce our agreements with you; (3) investigate and defend against claims or allegations made by third parties; (4) protect the security or integrity of our services (e.g., to protect your personal information, or to comply with any legal process served on us); (5) respond to requests from third parties; or (6) act on behalf of a third party to disclose information about you.(e.g. by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (5) to exercise or protect the rights and security of T4, our members, employees or others. We will attempt to notify members of legal requirements for their personal information when we believe it is appropriate to do so, unless prohibited by law or court order or unless it is an emergency. We may challenge such claims if we believe, in our sole discretion, that the claims are excessive, vague or not sufficiently authorized, but we do not promise to challenge every claim. 3.7 Change of control or sale

4.1 Data retention
We keep most of your personal information as long as your account is open.
We generally retain your personal information for as long as you keep your account open or as necessary to provide services. This includes information that you or others have provided to us and information generated or derived from the use of our services. Even if you use our services only every few years when looking for a new job, we will keep your data and your Profile open, unless you close your account. In some cases, we may choose to retain certain information (e.g., insights into service usage) in a de-personalized or aggregated form.
4.2 Access and control rights to your personal data
You can access or delete your personal data. There are many ways in which your data can be collected, used and shared.
We offer you many Possibilities for the collection, use and disclosure of your data, the deletion or correction of data that you have entered into your Profile the control of the visibility of your Contributions up to Advertising opt-outs and communication controls. We offer you Settings to control and manage the personal information we have about you.
For personal information that we have about you, you can do so:
- Delete data: You can ask us to delete or cancel all or part of your personal data (e.g. when it is no longer necessary to provide you with services).
- Change or correct data: You can edit some of your personal information through your account. You may also ask us to change, update or correct your information in certain cases, especially if it is inaccurate.
- Reject or restrict or limit the use of data: You may ask us to stop using all or some of your personal data (e.g. if we have no legal right to continue using it) or to restrict our use (e.g. if your personal data is incorrect or unlawfully stored).
- Right to access and/or take your data with you: You may ask us for a copy of your personal data and you may request a copy of the personal data you provide in machine-readable form.

Residents in the Designated Countries and other regions may have additional rights under their laws.
4.3 Closing an account
We will keep some of your data even after your account has been closed.
If you choose to keep your T4.network account, your personal information will generally not be visible to others in our services within 24 hours and we generally delete information about closed accounts within 30 days of account closure, except as noted below.
We will retain your personal information after your account has been closed, if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including requests from law enforcement authorities), to comply with legal requirements, to resolve disputes, to maintain security, to prevent fraud and abuse (e.g. if we suspect your account of violating our Professional Community guidelines restricted ) to enforce our user agreement or fulfill your request to "unsubscribe" from further messages from us. We will retain depersonalized information after your account is closed.
Information that you have shared with others (e.g., through email, updates, or group posts) remains visible after you close your account or delete the information from your own Profile or your mailbox, and we do not control information that other members have copied from our services. Group content and ratings or review content associated with closed accounts indicate an unknown user as the source. Your profile may continue to appear in other people's services (such as search engine results) until they update their cache.

We monitor and try to prevent security breaches. Please use the security features available through our services.
We implement security measures to protect your data, such as HTTPS. We regularly monitor our systems for possible weak points and attacks. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you send us. There is no guarantee that information cannot be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of our physical, technical or administrative security measures.
5.2 Cross-border data transfers
We store and use your data outside your country.
We process data both within and outside the United States and rely on mechanisms provided by law to lawfully transfer data across borders. Countries where we process data may have different laws and may not have laws as protective as those of your own country.
5.3 Legal basis for the processing
We have a legal basis for the collection, use and disclosure of data about you. You have the choice of how we should use your data.
You can withdraw your consent at any time at Settings withdraw.
We collect and process personal data about you only where we have a legal basis. Legal bases include consent (if you have given your consent), the contract (if the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract with you (e.g. to provide the T4.network services you have requested) and "legitimate interests".
